I’ve got a 36” waist and the strap doesn’t adjust small enough to fit properly. Will be returning.
First off I’d like to acknowledge the designing that went into this platform. It’s built for compact “ Running and gunning “ all while being comfortable and light weight, A+ on that guys.
However before and during myself taking this apart for a paint job I noticed a few things that could use improvement.
CONS
- 1 bolt came with half the threads stripped, I did take a pick to it to make sure it wasn’t built up aluminum shavings (threads were indeed stripped.
- cast quality could be better. I have a couple hollow holes in my platform.
-plastic washers are basically junk, they come couped and deformed with 2 of them hardly intact.
- Anodizing or zinc coating on hardware comes off with minimal contact. ( making metal shiny and vulnerable to rusting )
PROS
- V bracket ( part that grips tree ) and climbing step is razor sharp, just be careful while taking apart to paint or whatever you intend on doing.
- Light weight
-innovative
-stable and comfortable design
Overall I would recommend this, but I’d like to see them do better on the quality control side of things.
