Gives me security in the saddle, easy to use.
Only thing I need to figure out is I probably need to buy a new carabiner (that’s how they get ya) cause now my carabiner is hard to hook up cause it restricts the latch… still gave 5 stars tho cause I'm not a b**** lol
Easily holds my climbing sticks and saddle platform as well as all my other gear for a all-day whitetail hunt. I even can pack my Montana decoy and sticks as well as coat for my walk into the woods.
Major upgrade over other pouches offered by Trophyline. I use two of these pouches to carry my tether, lineman’s rope, four Amsteel daisy chains for my sticks, a bow hook, and the strap for my platform.
My only two suggestions for improvement are to slightly increase the size of the pouch, and also to move the drawstring closure around to the middle of the pouch or else allow for a drawstring on either side of the pouch. If you attach a pouch to the right side of your saddle, it’s hard to reach the draw string enclosure with your right hand.
The size and usefulness of this light are great. Used it multiple times on low setting and didn’t have any issues. I have not tested the battery life, but I really only use it if necessary. Packs easy and clips to hat or molle very well.
I bought this to use with my 8mm ropes while saddle hunting. Works as advertised, easy to set up and use. I do wish the carabiner channel was rubber coated or something to eliminate the metal on metal sound, but aside from that it works perfectly.
